Real Madrid have completed the signing of Argentine defender Gabriel Hienze 24 hours after Premier League turned down Hienze's appeal for his move to Anfield.
Heinze had lost his first team place to Patrice Evra at United wanted to move this summer to a different club. Heinze who spent 3 years at United will join former Manchester United team mate Ruud Van Nistelrooy at Madrid and becomes the third united player since 2003 to join Real who recently parted ways with former United player David Beckham.
The deal is reported to be worth £8m for four and a half years. Real Madrid have also completed the signing of Dutch winger Arjen Robben from Chelsea.
